Forget motivational speakers, take a look at Jamie Vardy for some inspiration

For all you peeps that have been living under a rock this year (or hate soccer)

Leicester City are gonna win the premier league

The lads who nearly got relegated last year are smashing the Premier League this year

With no American, Arab or Russian mob money invested either

And a large chunk of it is down to Jamie Vardy

Vardy is 29 (mature age for a player) and has decided to tare up trees this year

5 years ago he was paying in 4 league divisions lower, earning £850 a week (small money for a soccer player)

Now he’s earning £40,000 a week and playing for England

^ quite a pay rise

Let’s face it, Vardy is like the fat kid we knew in school that turned into a multi millionaire and a fitness model seemingly overnight

But what can we take home from this success story?

1. It certainly didn’t happen overnight
2. Success is not luck, it’s hard bloody work
3. If you can dream it you can do it (cheesey but true)
4. Never just accept what you’re doing. Push forward! (£850 -> £40,000)
5. It’s never too late for success (Vardy probably has 3 good years left in him, most would have given up)
6. No matter who you are or what your background is, if you work hard and smash on doors, someone will open it for you

Apply it to your own mindset, your own goals, whether that’s a beach body or deadliftin’ 200kg, and bloody go for it

Stop the excuses, stop thinking and just do it
