Another distraction! Ooo a birdie
Are you on Periscope? I’m not?
Don’t get me wrong
Periscope sounds pretty cool (it’s got 10million users in just 4 months)
But here’s my problem
It’s just another extra social media app to distract me from where I want to get to
It’s not gonna get me extra results in the gym
And it’s certainly not gonna get you some either
Just like training
Another ‘fad’ comes along (like zumba, the bebo of social media)
Everyone wants to try it
Then they realise it doesn’t get them anywhere
Then it disappears
And more importantly it DISTRACTS them from what they really should be doing
For samples – leg day at the gym
Squats and such with barbells on your back that will never be replaced
The ‘iron’ has been round forever and it’s given result after result time and time again
^ Like our FitChick, Hulk and #fitspo groups
Now I’m not denying I may venture over to periscope in the future
But for now I’m quite happy doing the stuff that has given me successful results over and over again
Coz if I overload myself with app after app I’ll become to ‘busy’ to actually focus on delivering results
Food for thought folks (or app for thought in this scenario)
Choose wisely and pick something that deliver time and time again ***RESULTS***
