Tis the season to be fat and jolly
Xmas is fast approaching
Nights out, dinners and steins in the beer tent (if you’re lucky enough to be in Galway)
And it usually leads to a few pounds of weight gain
Sure we can justify it
It’s cold, miserable and you’ve an extra sweater to cover your newly formed lumps and bumps
However it doesn’t mean you love gaining weight
So it’s pretty simple
I’ve come up with a solution to solve that problem
3 simple tips to keep bellyfat at bay
1. DO NOT give up your training. Just coz it’s cold doesn’t mean burpees or pushing a sled won’t keep you warm. Do not give yourself an excuse to stop busting your pretty lil hump. Get some weight sessions in with some high intensity cardio afterwards to justify that mince pie you snuck in last night
2. Morning is not party time. Eat healthy when you are not on the razz. Fill yourself with a protein based meal alongside some veggie. The rest of your calories can be pizza and beer 😉
3. Stop being a baby. When you’re hungover don’t ring Dominos and expect them to deliver to your bed. Get up, get showered, cook some decent food and get moving. Typical hungover Sundays are one of the main causes for fat gain. Don’t let it ruin you!
Apply all of these rules to your Xmas festivities and you won’t see your belly grow
(ok it might grow a little but not as much as usual)
